James Patterson at the Cuillo Theatre

World-renowned author James Patterson launched Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever, the second book in his series for young readers, at the Cuillo Theatre in Downtown West Palm Beach on Tuesday May 9, 2006. The event was sponsored by the West Palm Beach Public Library; the Cuillo Theatre; the Palm Beach County School District; Little, Brown Publishers, and Classic Bookshop of Palm Beach. Author James O. Born and his daughter Emily, who presented her sequel for Maximum Ride, attended the event, along with nearly 600 Palm Beach County school students. Each student received a free copy of Maximum Ride.
